Make an impression

For many visitors to your site your home page will be the first page they see, if you make the wrong impression it may also be the last.  The overall design of your website is important in creating the right impression, but this must be supported by the content.  Think carefully about your target market when writing copy for your website.  Travel agents specialising in family camping trips will need a different approach to an agency selling luxury cruise.

Write your home page last

If you are undertaking all content copy writing in house, write your other pages first.  The more pages you write the better you get.  Meanwhile, just write a couple of lines to get you started.

Tell potential customers what's special about YOU

Do you specialise in a particular destination or type of holiday or is your impeccable service your biggest selling point?  Have you won any awards recently? Put yourself in your customers' shoes - why should they book their next holiday with you?

Hire a professional
