Tell your potential customers about who you are and why they should buy their holiday from your travel agency. Begin by thinking about keywords / features of your travel agency and why they benefit your customers. For example a feature of your travel agency may be independence, the benefit of this is that you are not tied to any particular tour operator enabling you to offer your customers a wide choice.
Below are a few suggestions of items you could include.
You could include:
- Company history
- Trade membership / financial protection - ABTA, ATOL, AITO etc. logo, link
- Awards - name of award, year won, link
- Press features - article title, link
- Staff profiles - name, picture, qualifications, career history, specialist areas, recent trips, link to personal blog (if appropriate!)
Usually the more information/content you include, the better. This is certainly true for search engine optimisation, however your potential customers may get bored if your pages are full of waffle...
If you have the time or inclination to write more than a paragraph about each 'section' you should consider breaking the information up using either:
- separate pages (linked)
- page break
- read more
- accordion or tabbed menus
Remember to include (but don't overuse!) bullet points, bold, italics, underline and images to make important points stand out.
